How are partner families selected?
Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County
accepts applications from local families on an annual basis. Our
Family Selection committee reviews the applications and chooses
families based on their need for better shelter, their willingness to
become partners in the program, and their ability to repay the
no-interest mortgage. Applicants must have lived or worked in
Bulloch County for at least one year at the time of application.
Neither race nor religion is a factor in choosing partner families.

The selection process for houses to be built in 2007-08 will begin with
Application Fairs in Spring 2007. Anyone interested in
applying for a Habitat home should contact
the Habitat office at 489-2076, or email habitat@habitatbulloch.org
and provide their name and mailing address for our interest list. When
the Application Fair is scheduled, people on this list will be notified
by mail. The application sessions will also be listed on this website
and advertised through local media.
