Flag Schedule and Self
Storage
Homeowners, thank you for agreeing to store your flag
during the season. Storing your flag is a great help to your
neighborhood volunteer. Please identify your street number
on your mailbox, curb, or house to facilitate flag placement
and pickup.
During the calendar year annual flag season, please take
up and install your flag using the guidelines below.
Your volunteer will install your flag on Memorial Day

Your volunteer will pick up your
Flag after Veterans Day
Your volunteer will install your flag before Memorial
Day Observance and pick up your flag from its holder after
Veterans Day unless you have no identified volunteer and
have agreed with Habitat’s Flag Coordinators, the Rogers, to
store your flag during the period until the next flag
season. Your letter or email in the spring is your notice to
send payment for the calendar year.
