Get Involved

How can I get involved?

Project BuildIn addition to construction, we welcome volunteers to serve on any of our committees, assist at the ReStore, in the Flag Program, in the office, and on other projects. The public is invited to learn about Habitat and sign up for any of our volunteer activities. We hold a monthly Volunteer Orientation to allow interested individuals to learn about volunteer opportunities. We have a limited number of volunteer spaces each week, so groups must schedule a work day in advance. Please provide the name of the group, contact person's name, telephone number and email, the expected number of volunteers and your preferred date(s) to work. You will receive a confirmation email with the date you are scheduled and instructions related to volunteering.

Groups which wish to schedule a workday for construction or at our ReStore can contact the Habitat office at 489-2076 or email volunteer signup.

Georgia Southern Campus Chapter

If you are a student (or faculty or staff member) at Georgia Southern, you can get involved through the Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The campus chapter holds advocacy and education events on campus, and schedules regular work days on Habitat builds. In addition, the affiliate calls on the campus chapter whenever volunteers are needed for special projects, from fundraising events to big projects at the office to helping host the Collegiate Challenge when students from other Habitat chapters come to Statesboro.  GSU Campus Chapter
